Soil Install, Aeration, and Slice Seeding in Middleboro, MA
When Brian reached out to Mighty Lawn in July of 2025, his lawn was sparse, filled with crabgrass, and had a shallow soil bed made up of contractor fill. Brian had just purchased his home in Middleboro in the prior months, and the bank had required him to perform a seeding project in the month of June to release the loan on the house. As a result, Brian had a seed project performed by a bank contractor in the middle of the summer, resulting in his lawn looking terrible.
After a lawn evaluation, Brian agreed to have Mighty Lawn perform a soil and seed install on parts of his lawn, as well as aeration and slice seeding on the remaining portion. We installed 5 yards of composted loam across much of the front yard, then aerated and slice seeded the remaining 12,000 square feet of turf, using approximately 300 pounds of our high sun grass seed mix consisting mostly of turf type tall fescue. A starter fertilizer was applied to the lawn at a high rate approximately 1 week after the mechanical seeding project was performed, as to allow time for the initial germination before the introduction of nutrients. Brian watered his lawn 3 times per day and refrained from mowing for the following 25 days.
The result was thick, bright green lawn achieved less than 4 weeks from the project date. Brian was so happy with his lawn, that he left us a zealous Google review, instructing homeowners in the area not to use anyone else.

Client Review
This is your LAWN GUY!!! Don't use anyone else! Alex is the best, fair prices and honest hard worker, you aren't going to find a better person to help you with your lawn. My lawn went from 85% crab grass to better than most lawns on the south shore in 3 weeks!!! Alex shows up when he says and works hard to make your lawn the best in the neighborhood! This is a brand new lawn that was planted late June and was nearly ALL crab grass 3 weeks ago, I never thought it could look as good as this in under a month!
