Tracey was referred to Mighty Lawn by Mendonca Landscaping in May of 2025. Tracey had a 40,000 square foot lawn installed in the fall of 2025, and it had not been fertilized since. As a result, there was visible fertilizer striping, and a noticeable lack of density in many areas throughout the lawn. The lawn was yellow due to lack of nitrogen, potassium, and iron.

To achieve a dark green lawn, typical fertilizer applications can range from 5-6 weeks apart, and up to 8 weeks if high rates of slow release nitrogen are used on a lawn that is already properly fertilized. Because Tracey's lawn was suffering from a severe lack of nutrients, Mighty Lawn opted to reduce the time between fertilizer applications to 3-5 weeks, as well as perform an additional application in the month of August. An aeration and over seeding project was performed in the month of September to increase density in the sparse areas of the turf. As a result, by late September Tracey's lawn presented as thick, uniform, and dark green.
